1 哦，若我们属基督，
地上的羞辱或损失算什么？
我们背了十字架之后，
荣耀的冠冕必明亮。
1 Oh, what, if we are Christ's,
Is earthly shame or loss?
Bright shall the crown of glory be,
When we have borne the cross.
2 试炼曾经剧烈，
忧伤的杯何等苦；
当殉道的圣徒，在血中受洗，
在地上分担基督的苦难。
2 Keen was the trial once,
Bitter the cup of woe,
When martyred saints, baptized in blood,
Christ's sufferings shared below.
3 他们的荣耀如今明亮，
他们在上的喜乐无边，
在他们神的怀中，
他们安息在完全的爱里。
3 Bright is their glory now,
Boundless their joy above,
Where on the bosom of their God,
They rest in perfect love.
4 主啊，愿那恩典属我们！
像他们一样，凭信心担当
地上可能成为我们的份的
一切忧伤、悲痛或痛苦！
4 Lord, may that grace be ours!
Like them in faith to bear
All that of sorrow, grief or pain,
May be our portion here!
5 若你终于赐下蒙福的话，
就够了；
让我们安息在你脚下，
圣徒与天使居住之处！
5 Enough, if thou at last
The word of blessing give,
And let us rest beneath thy feet,
Where saints and angels live!
