你至高的旨意拒绝了什么，
愿这祈求在你施恩的宝座前
蒙悦纳，向上升起：

Thy sov'reign will denies,
Accepted at thy throne of grace,
Let this petition rise
2 “求赐我平静、感恩的心，
“脱离一切埋怨：

"From ev'ry murmur free:
"The blessings of thy grace impart,
"And make me live to thee.
