1 现在是撒种与流泪，
辛苦工作，长久等候；
以后是金色的收割，
收成回家，感恩歌唱。
现在是漫长辛劳的职责，
一块石头一块石头地雕刻、搬运；
以后是君王宫殿
完全的美丽。
1 Now, the sowing, and the weeping,
Working hard, and waiting long;
Afterward, the golden reaping,
Harvest-home and grateful song.
Now, the long and toilsome duty,
Stone by stone to carve and bring;
Afterward, the perfect beauty
Of the palace of the King.
2 现在是灵被争战撕裂，
心受伤，争战痛苦；
以后是赐下的得胜，
与得胜者生命的冠冕。
现在是训练，艰难而卑微，
脚疲倦，额头作痛；
以后是神圣的事奉，
与主人的“可以进来，享受你主人的快乐！”
2 Now, the spirit conflict-riven,
Wounded heart, and painful strife;
Afterward the triumph given,
And the victor’s crown of life.
Now, the training, hard and lowly,
Weary feet and aching brow;
Afterward, the service holy,
And the Master’s “Enter Thou!”
