1 我们四周明亮而欢畅，
头顶的天空柔和湛蓝；
春天终于来到，找着了我们，
带来春天的一切喜乐；
每一朵花都满怀欢欣，
露珠晶莹，小鸟快活；
大地虽有罪恶与忧伤，
今天却像一处快乐的地方。
1 All is bright and cheerful round us,
All above is soft and blue;
Spring at last hath come and found us,
Spring and all its pleasures too;
Every flower is full of gladness;
Dew is bright and birds are gay;
Earth, with all its sin and sadness,
Seems a happy place today.
2 若是那转眼凋谢的花朵，
若是那终归黑夜的白昼，
若是那常被浓云
遮蔽我们视线的天空，——
这一切尚且有如此的美丽，
那么神的安息之地该是何等美好，
在那里，尽了本分的儿女，
历经许多劳苦之后蒙福！
2 If the flowers, that fade so quickly,
If a day, that ends in night,
If the sky, that clouds so thickly
Often cover from our sight,--
If they all have so much beauty,
What must be God's Land of Rest,
Where His sons, that do their duty,
After many toils are blest?
3 那里有永不枯干的叶子，
有永不凋残的花朵；
没有邪恶之物到那里去，
也没有善美之物被拒绝在外。
这些人是从大患难中出来的，
曾把衣裳洗白净了；
他们出自各方言、各国，
都得着安息、平安与光明。
3 There are leaves that never wither,
There are flowers that ne'er decay;
Nothing evil goeth thither,
Nothing good is kept away.
They that came from tribulation,
Washed their robes and made them white.
Out of every tongue and nation,
They have rest, and peace, and light.
