1 耶和华的圣徒啊，你们的信心，
在他美好的话语上，立了何等稳固的根基！
他还能对你们说什么，比他已经说过的更多呢？
你们这些逃到耶稣那里寻求避难的人。
1 How firm a foundation ye saints of the LORD,
Is laid for your faith in his excellent word
What more can he say than to you he hath said?
You, who unto JESUS for refuge have fled.
2 无论在什么境况中，在疾病或健康里，
在贫穷的幽谷，或在富足丰盛中；
在家或在外，在陆地或在海上，
“你的日子如何，你的力量也必如何。”
2 In ev'ry condition, in sickness, in health
In poverty's vale, or abounding in wealth;
At home and abroad, on the land, on the sea.
"As thy days may demand, shall thy strength ever be.
3 “你不要害怕，因为我与你同在；不要惊惶，
因为我是你的神。
我必坚固你，我必帮助你，
我必用我公义的右手扶持你。”
3 "Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismay'd,
"I, am thy God, and will still give thee aid;
"I'll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,
"Upheld by my righteous omnipotent hand.
4 “你从水中经过，我必与你同在；
你趟过江河，水必不漫过你；
我必与你同在，使你的患难得福，
又使你最深的苦楚成为圣洁。”
4 "When thro' the deep waters I call thee to go,
"The rivers of sorrow shall not overflow;
"For I will be with thee, thy troubles to bless,
"And sanctify to thee, thy deepest distress.
5 “当你的路径要经过火炼的试验，
我的恩典够你用的，
火焰也不着在你身上；我的用意
只是烧尽你的渣滓，炼净你的精金。”
5 "When thro' fiery trials thy path-way shall lie,
"My grace all sufficient shall be thy supply
"The flame shall not hurt thee I only design
"Thy dross to consume, and thy gold to refine.
6 “直到你们年老，我仍这样，
我的子民都要经历我至高、永恒、不变的爱；
直到你们发白，我仍怀抱你们，
像羊羔一样，仍被抱在我的怀中。”
6 "Even down to old age, all my people shall prove
"My sov'reign, eternal, unchangeable love;
"And when hoary hairs shall their temples adorn,
"Like lambs they shall still in my bosom be born.
7 “凡倚靠耶稣得安息的灵魂，
我决不，决不把他撇给他的仇敌；
那灵魂，纵使全地狱极力要动摇，
我总不撇下你，也不丢弃你。”
7 "The soul that on Jesus hath lean'd for repose,
"I will not, I will not desert to his foes;
"That soul tho' all hell should endeavour to shake,
"I'll never — no never — no never forsake."
