RipX DAW: The Photoshop of Audio
Beyond Stems: Note-Based Editing
Standard AI separators (like Lalal.ai or Gauss) just give you wave file stems. RipX is different. It converts the audio into a proprietary format called "Rip" which allows you to edit the individual notes inside the audio, even after it's been mixed.
Key Features
- DeepRemix: Drag any MP3 into RipX. It automatically separates it into Vocals, Bass, Drums, and Other.
- Note Editing: See a wrong note in a guitar solo? Grab it and drag it up a semitone, just like MIDI. But it's audio!
- Sound Replacement: Select the "Bass Note" track and replace the sound with a "Moog Synth" preset. RipX resynthesizes the audio in real-time.
The Remix Workflow
1. Import: Drag a classic disco track into RipX.
2. Clean: Use the "Harmonic Editor" to erase the background noise from the
accapella.
3. Export: Export the cleaned Vocal Stem as a high-quality WAV to use in
your main DAW (Ableton/Logic).
