Essential Ableton Live Shortcut Keys (Cheat Sheet)
Watching pros use Ableton Live is like watching a wizard. Windows fly open, clips duplicate, and automations appear out of thin air. They aren't smarter than you; they just stopped using the mouse.
If you want to finish tracks twice as fast, memorize these keys.

🎓 Professor's Secret Tip
Shift + Tab
This toggles between the Clip View (where you see the waveform/piano roll) and the Device
View (where you see your effects/synths).
Once you get used to hitting Tab (Arrangement view) and Shift+Tab (Device view), you will feel like you are flying through the interface.
One Last Thing
Don't try to learn all of these at once. Pick three from this list today. Write them on a sticky note and put it on your monitor.
Use them until your fingers do it automatically. Then, pick three more. In a month, you'll be the wizard.
